Today, during my special studies Letterforms class, my professor, Tony Dispigna, who is a master of hand drawn Spencerian script, chose my name to draw as the example for the class!! I was so honored. Here are some pictures!!

For my thesis I am examining the role that pattern plays within the field of communications design. For the history part of the thesis I am researching Islamic pattern art, in addition to other parts of art history. As part of my research I went to The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s  new wing on the Art of the Arab Lands, Turkey, Iran, Central Asia, and Later South Asia. Here are some of the photos that I took.
